AN innovative twist on an industry standard design has produced a revolutionary method for containing ink in a closed cup for pad printing machines. ITW Trans Tech is introducing the RedStar™ MultiCup system, comprised of an anodized aluminum body, which uses the plastic ExpressLiner™ ink container, and easily replaceable carbide metal doctoring rings. The mechanical hold-down RedStar MultiCup is available in 60, 90, and 130mm inside diameters and is distinguished by its ruby-red anodized finish. NOTE: Patented ExpressLiners are ONLY useable in ITW Trans Tech RedStar MultiCups. Express Liners can be used ONLY in mechanical hold-down versions of the RedStar MultiCup. Also, ExpressLiners may be used in either mechanical or magnetic hold-down SpaceFrames. |

The key feature of the ExpressLiner is its polypropylene substrate. With its molded plastic groove it holds the carbide ring securely but with enought flexibility to allow proper ink doctoring of the cliché. When the production run is complete, the ring can be easily removed for cleaning and the liner discarded. ExpressLiners are availabe for 60, 90, and 130mm RedStar MultiCups with mechanical hold-down; NOTE: not availabe for magnetic ink cups (ask your rep for details). NOTE: Patented ExpressLiners are ONLY useable in ITW Trans Tech RedStar MultiCups. At present, Express Liners are available on mechanical hold-down RedStar cups ONLY. Long Life Oil (#141112) 16 fluid ounce dispenser bottle LONG LIFE OIL prolongs the life of silicone rubber transfer pads while promoting excellent ink transferability. When applied properly, it replenishes the silicone oil to the pad body that normally becomes lost during printing operations. This is an ideal product for short & long term pad storage. Cliché Spray (#141110) 15 ounce spray can CLICHE SPRAY dissolves dried ink in the etched areas of cliché printing plates, on the ink cup assembly, fixtures or any other machine component surface. Since cliché spray does not contaminate the ink, it becomes an excellent tool for restarting the printing operation after long periods of idle time. Pad Cleaner (#1411121) one quart dispenser bottle PAD CLEANER is designed for the proper cleaning of silicone rubber transfer pads. It safely removes dust, dirt, ink & other contaminants while prolonging pad life. Pad cleaner minimizes excessive silicone oil removal from the pad body. Use before, during & after printing operations as required. Anti-Corrosion Spray (#141111) 12 ounce spray can ANTI-CORROSION SPRAY protects printing cliché plates from corrosion by forming a protective film coating. This prevents moisture from oxidizing the polished steel surface. Excellent for short or long term plate storage, it can be removed easily with conventional cleaning solvents, such as Cliché Spray. Synthetic Cleaner & Ink Remover (#120403) one-liter can SYNTHETIC CLEANER & INK REMOVER is a cost-effective way to eliminate or greatly reduce the waste of rejected or misprinted parts. This cleaner is designed to safely remove ink from printed parts without attacking or damaging most substrate materials. Cleaner can be used immediately after pad printing or, in some cases, after the ink is fully cured. Plastic Squeeze Bottles with Spouts Available in these sizes: 8 ounce (#1410166), and one-quart size with three possible spout colors: yellow (#1410167), blue (#1410172), and red (#1410173). PLASTIC SQUEEZE BOTTLES WITH SPOUTS have been developed to provide a safer method of dispensing solvents directly onto small components or sub-assemblies with a minimum of overspray or spillage. Squeezing the body of the bottle produces a fine stream of liquid from the narrow, angled spout. Made of low-density polyethylene, these versatile dispensers are useful items in any pad printing shop. |
